We craft premium gear that performs when it counts, starting with Clutch Dust — a climbing chalk made by climbers, tested on real rock, and built for grip that lasts. But we’re more than just a product. We’re a community-driven adventure brand rooted in authenticity, storytelling, and gear with soul — designed for those who live for the challenge.
Meet the founder
James Vorster
“I’ve spent the last few years coaching climbers and chalking up everywhere — indoors, outdoors, on holds, barbells, rings… even trees. Long before that, movement and performance were already my thing.
As a climber, outdoor enthusiast, and longtime explorer of strength and fitness, I started Voyager Point to solve a problem I kept seeing: the gear we rely on is either mass-produced and generic, or elite and out of reach.
Voyager Point is the answer to that — a brand that bridges the gap between the people and the product. It’s more than gear; it’s about grit, stories, and the community I’ve watched climbing build. I’ve poured that same energy into every batch of Clutch Dust, and I’m stoked to keep creating tools that hold up when things get real.”
